PARIM is the Professional Association of Residents and Interns of Manitoba

3.1 The provisions of this Collective Agreement, unless otherwise specified, shall become effective from and including July 1, 2005, up to and including June 30, 2008 and thereafter until a new Collective Agreement has been concluded, subject to sub-article 3.02.

3.02 Notice for revision or termination of this Collective Agreement may be submitted by the Employer or the Association to the other party not earlier than December 1, 2007 nor later than March 1, 2008, and in the case of notice of termination being given, this Collective Agreement shall terminate on June 30, 2008.   If notice for revision or termination of this Collective Agreement is not made by April 1, 2008, this Collective Agreement shall continue in full force and effect for a further period of twelve (12) months.

3.03  If notice is given for revision or termination of this Collective Agreement, the parties shall, prior to the commencement of bargaining, deliver each to the other their respective written proposals for a new Collective Agreement or the revision of this Collective Agreement.  The parties shall be restricted in bargaining to the proposals made by them.

3.1 Upon notice being given under sub-article 3.02, the parties shall commence negotiations forthwith.
