Resident Spotlight Award

Resident Spotlight Awards

The Resident Spotlight Award began in 2019 to recognize resident physicians who make important contributions while still maintaining their work/life balance. This Award celebrates and shares the accomplishments of fellow residents.

Eligibility

All resident physicians are eligible to be nominated. Nominations may be self-nominated or may be submitted by fellow Resident physicians, Attending physicians, or medical students. Residents are not eligible to win more than one time per academic year.

Process

Nominations can be made by filling out one of the following nomination forms. This includes explaining (in 150 words) why the nominee merits recognition. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Applications may also be dropped off at GF132, Health Sciences Centre, at the PARIM Office. Please mark submissions: “Attention, PARIM Awards Committee”. Resident spotlight award nomination forms are due the 15th of the previous month. For example, nominations for the March award are due by Feb 15th.

The Awards Committee will consider applications for awards on a quarterly basis: September, December, March, and June of each year.
